This afternoon I read at Shelf Life books in Calgary. This was my first time reading at this book store, and it was lovely. A great crowd turned out. I was pleased to get the chance to read with Kirk Ramdath, another Frontenac poet.

A special highlight for me was getting to see my friends’ daughter Willow. Willow came to my first poetry reading when I released “She dreams in red” and she was at this one too! She’s been to two book launches and she’s only 5 🙂

When I showed her my book, she said, “My mom has that book.”
When her dad told her that I had written the book, she said, “That’s really cool!”

She was a hit with the crowd.
